What we face re: grave-robbing (true story)
Edited on Fri Jun-11-04 01:04 PM by troublemaker
During the 1992 Republican convention (in Texas) then Senator Phil Graham (R-TX) threw a party/fundraiser/event where an actor was hired as an LBJ look-alike and came out dressed as LBJ and, speaking as LBJ from beyond the grave endorsed Graham. Needless to say, the Johnson family had not been consulted.

True story.

Do not put anything past these people. Grave-robbing is what they're about.

1. Jimmy Breslin spoke of gee-dubya: "...he molests the dead"...
...in reference to the use of the bodies of police and firefighters in reelection advertisements.

2. Maybe they'll rig up a movie projector
and project a giant image of Reagan's ghost over the Repuke convention, just like every episode of "Scooby Do". Sounds nutty, but I wouldn't put it past them.

5. No, it's JFK look-alikes he have to watch out for
The equivalent stunt in 2004 would be having JFK endorse Bush--they are so fond of pointing out that if Kennedy were alive today he's be a Republican, blah blah etc..
