Did the Bushies leak the "torture is O.K." memos?

I am starting to think they did.
Think about it: they believed that the memos were coming out sooner or later, so they wanted to get them out during a time when the press would give it little play.

So Reagan dies on Saturday, and that Monday morning the Wall Street Journal breaks the story.

Coincidence? Perhaps.

it's something they didn't want anyone to know exists. Now that the Senate Judiciary Committee knows it exists because of the leak, they want the directive that it suggests Bush signed because the torture happened.

under my theory (and I am not saying I have bought into it completely, I just throw it out there for debate) they feared it was coming out anyway, either in response to subpoeanas, or by a real leak, so they got it out there in an opportune time.
