Poll question: Who thinks Bush blackmailed Nancy into letting him do the eulogy
It is well knowns that the Reagans and Bushes don't get along. Bush Sr. was eager to move into the White House when Reagan was shot and this did permanent damage to the relationship between the two families. Nancy became an advocate for stem cell research before Reagan died and Bush's opposition to it is part of the reason her husband's dead.

1. Undecided about this
On one hand, you have to ask the "who benefits?" question and the undoubtable answer is Bush*.

But there is also Nancy's ego to take into consideration. I would think that her devotion to her Ronnie would dictate that his passing be eulogized by none other than the sitting (squatting) President himself.

So it's a tough call.

3. I cannot fathom why she would allow it.
I just want to say this in case I pass on before 11/04.
Do Not Let Bush Deliver the Eulogy.
That is my request.

6. That would be interesting-a one time enemy, who became an ally
Just from the human perspective, it would be interesting to hear Gorbie's eulogy.
