1. Sticking The Treasury Of The US In Your Pocket
Isn't a sin when you're rich enough to bribe God.

2. I don't know about your neighborhood, but in my community,
Bush is a perfect example of a typical Republican citizen. Over and over again they suffer indiscretions in business, and then they rely on their pals in high places to bail them out of trouble. As long as they continue to show up in church and participate in the Rotary Club fund raisers, all is forgiven.

3. They found the rich man's loophole in Paul
that faith alone is sufficient for salvation. A rich man who believes can steal, cheat, rape, and murder with impunity. He'll get an automatic ticket to heaven for belief, alone.

Slick, wasn't he?

8. That's what's so great about being a Christian.
Once you've been "saved", all your sins have automatically been forgiven, even before you commit them. You don't have to worry about the consequences of your actions because you are irrevocably forgiven for everything you've ever done, or ever will do.

What you do in life is not what matters, only that you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Once you do that, you're home free.

It's the ultimate evasion of personal responsibility.

Disclaimer: This is not meant to apply to all, or even most Christians, but to a specific type of Born Again Evangelical, representing a very vocal minority of Christians. I learned about this attitude from 2 years of listening to Christian hate radio.

I hope I didn't offend anybody.

19. You did not offend,,but I am a chrisitan and I don't believe that way
I don't believe once save always saved and I don't believe you can do anything you want because in every case, Christians were instructed to not go there again. It also says that it keep doing it and you can get a deaf ear turned on you, so I I am paraphrasing but nope, it isn't that way at all in my faith. I cannot say God forgive me for what I am about to do. Must be certain baptists or methodists you are speaking of. We don't believe you can do anything and get away with it .....

21. I don't believe that most Christians
think that way, but a certain type, of which GWB is one, do think that way. I think it's mainly the conservative fundie Evangelical types, but I heard alot of that attitude during the time that I was listening to Christian radio.

I think it's sad that this very vocal minority manages to tarnish the reputations of others by pretending that they speak for all Christians.

I would never want to paint all Christians with the same brush or attribute the beliefs of a minority to the whole group.

Thanks for not being offended.:)
