The media can lie all they want - but they can't make us believe it
One of their big lies being propagated at this moment is that Reagan was beloved by all of America. After all, he did win 49 states! Yes, in an election where Democrats were divided and demoralized, with no small help from the media. But, all of America did not and does not love Ronald Reagan. He was despised by many good patriotic Americans. We can accept that he was loved by the corporate media and the right-wingers but please do not try to make us believe that he was loved by the entire nation. Because he wasn't. And that is a lie.

2. Unfortunately, the fact that he was suffering dementia...
was withheld from the electorate. Just as Bush's brain damage is being withheld today. FDR suffered from dementia in his last term, but Reagan and Bush were afflicted in their first stay in the White House.

6. I'll never believe that
about FDR, no matter what, because I've studied the facts on the man for more than 30 years, but I suspected Ray-gun had undetected Alzheimer's in 1976! Why elss would the man have chosen a running-mate before he ever received his party's nomination (which he didn't!).

3. That was exactly the impression I got from the Sunday TV gabfests..
...they would say stuff about this "Great Communicator" being universally loved by America and the World as if it was a given...and without a hint of irony.

4. He sure wasn't loved
by me. His reign was a very difficult time. Things were real bad then. It always got me riled at how they had to tear down Jimmy Carter, the real Saint, in order to make him seem great.

5. Reagan has always been a skunk to me. Charisma? Ha!
When he won the election, I knew he had pulled a fast one with the hostages. I knew something stank. I just didn't know the cesspool was so deep and so wide.
