Ronald Reagan's Great Sense Of Timing
I don't profess to be a Ronald Reagan fan. While I think he was a personally affable fellow, I strongly believe that the policies he implemented aided and abetted started a long dark chapter in US social history, very nealry bankrupted the US federal government, and are now bearing poisoned fruit in the post-Cold War world.

Nevertheless, as much as I disliked the Reagan Presidency, I've noted Reagan's gift for timing with more than a little grudging admiration. The Gipper always seemed to perform the successful action for him at what was for him at the best possible moment.

I think I believed that even in a mind and body betrayed by Alheimer's, Ronald Reagan has done it yet again. I believe that Reagan knew when to die so that he won't be here in mind or spirit when Progressives and moderates get riled and angry enough to start dealing the so-called "Conservatives" heavy blows this November.

France's Louis XV said "Apres moi, le deluge." Reagan may not have spoken or understood French, but it looks like he's arranged not to be here when the brown stuff flung from the fan blades starts hitting his former acoloytes.
