I'll start us off: Ronald Reagan was a racist, when running for governor he expressed his belief that business should be able to discriminate against black people.

The right wing crazies are going to try to spin him as a saint.

It is absolutely ESSENTIAL that their lies be countered.

Instead of pursuing a policy that would have taken into account the interests of Afghan society, Reagan ramped up the war in that country against the Soviets, providing all kinds of military aid, bringing in jihadists from all over the world, and encouraging policies that turned Afghanistan into a chaotic, wartorn place ruled by warlords.

The Taliban and Bin Laden were among those who benefitted from Reagan's policies, receiving military aid and training.

Reagan will burn in hell for:

Aiding and abetting the destruction of Afghan society for his own narrow ideological purposes;

For pouring weapons and jihadists into that country;

For creating the circumstances that gave rise to the Taliban and AL Qaeda;

For all who have died as a result of Al Qaeda and Bush.
