Tenet out for exposing Chalabi & to drown news of Bush's hiring lawyer
great timing! People are talking about Tenet's failures now rather than Bush's hiring of a criminal lawyer to keep him out the electric chair. The Bush Crime Family will blame Tenet now for 9/11, Iraq and everything else, including the high price of the gallon of milk.

I hope he writes a tell-all book.

1. No he's out for this reason as ABC News reported yesterday
"DEVASTATING" SENATE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE REPORT: Linda Douglass reports that according to two senior sources familiar with the Senate Intelligence Committee's report on pre-war intelligence failures yet to be released, findings are "devastating" for Tenet. Democratic sources confirm Tenet was losing support among Democrats because of the conclusions reached by this report. One Republican source predicted Wednesday Tenet might resign before it is released. The report is currently being declassified by the CIA and is expected to be made public on June 17.

5. This story is 100 % fishy, and here's why:
This story is a nifty little piece of work--it functions both as a trial baloon and a teaser, while also planting the official spin of the reason Tenet left.

The way I read it, Rethugs are the chief sources (Dems just "confirm"), and no matter what Tenet says the "reason" for his departure will be the Senate rethug's report blaming him for Chimp's stupidity and pre 9-11 preocupation with chainsawing wood at his ranch.

"...two senior sources familiar with the Senate Intelligence Committee's report..." I bet these sources were rethugs. Dems have no interest in blaming Tenet for 9-11. He warned Chimp and Chimp ignored him.

"Democratic sources confirm Tenet was losing support..." Read: the reporter said, "So Tenet is losing Dem support, eh?" Dem replied something like, "Yeah, I guess."

"One Republican source predicted..." Read: Rove told me he was going to fire Tenet before the report came out.

Viola. Tenet left because he fucked up 9-11. And guess what the media "speculated" all day today.

His admin. is in dissaray. This was not done on purpose by the admin. to distract, IMO, it happened because the admin. is completely self destructing.

7. Not only Randi but also
Sam Seder and Marty Kaplan could also see on the radio shows today through the timing of this 'resignation'. Not only to drown news of Bush's hiring the attorney but also of Cheney's paper trail tying him to Halliburton & war profiteering.
