Yes, this is the same Arthur Anderson of Enron fame as well as one
of the biggest outsourcers, moved to Bermuda to avoid US corporate taxes and my favorite, they beat out
Lockheed Martin, who has the most expertise in this area.

Can you say something stinks?

1. Their HQ Is Also In The Bahamas
So no taxes paid back to the US on their profits.

3. No taxes on profits made outside the USA. Still taxes on those
made in the USA. However, corporations can deduct all expenses, unlike employees who can deduct nothing.

2. Accenture used to be Arthur Andersen
of Enron accounting fame. They spun off and changed names...the old moniker was proving bad for business.

My my, what a cozy bunch of theives!

4. They spun off before Andersen get caught.
Andersen demanded the name back, and Accenture's partners got to keep $20B.

Accenture was lucky.

Then they went public and started to make their profit off of the backs of their workers to satisfy their shareholders.

Nice GOP loving corporation.

5. I used to work for Andersen Consulting
People in the know refer to them as The Borg.

I could write a book about my short two-year stay. That company at the time had some of the brightest and some of the scummiest people I've ever met.

7. scummy Enron, part II
but it's a corporation that eats it's young, like Cronos...
so if there were brilliant people haven't they fired them and
replaced them with 8k a year Indian engineers in Bangalore?

Oh yeah, I forgot, now Indians are all geniuses...they all became
geniuses in the last 3 years (sic).

(serious) I don't believe for 2 seconds with face recognition, biometrics, voice characterization (feature extraction), etc. such cutting edge, still in research, major digital signal processing and sophisticated intellectual property that are the components to the VISIT system...

Accenture is going to come close on delivery...no way in hell...that's all world class cutting edge research and when you're busy firing engineers in hunt of the cheapest buck, I don't buy they have built up the expertise required. Lockheed I believe. This STINKS on so many fronts.

6. As a former 'Droid I can say with confidence they'll screw it up
The job will eventually get done, but at a minimum of three times the initial cost.
