Evidence of Abrupt Climate Change

The following in a quote from the book Abrupt Climate Change: Inevitable Surprises which is available as a free download from http"//www.edu/catalog/10136.html . The typos aer in the text, not mine. The passage below discusses the brevity of rapid climate change, changes that have occurred on earth in the past in as short a time as three years. Although the movie exagerates, the possibility of rapid change has been proven. The only questions for the future is when will it happen and how fast will it be this time.
EVIDENCE OF ABRUPT CLIMATE CHANGE 27 data from the cores over the most recent 110,000 years, and the multipa- rameter analyses give an exceptionally clear view of the climate system.
