If you were a voter, sitting on the fence, and couldn't make up your mind
about who you were going to vote for in November (are those people still out there) how would the Gore speech have affected you? Thanks to The Magistrate, he thinks this may have been seen differently than the media has painted it, except for the hardcores that will vote Bush no matter what, and that we should not be concerned that much about it. I've been thinking along a similar line and it might be that it is to our advantage everytime they play the clip by Al Gore. Is his message in the clip stronger than the media message that he was over the top and "intemperate"? I think it is possible that the Gore quote is still to our advantage. ANy other thoughts on this?

1. Remember, Ashcroft's phony press conference?
In the "news" scheme of things Ashcroft's phony al Qaeda's gonna get ya, if ya don't watch out! press conference trumped Al Gore's speech.

On the other hand, my dad was favorably impressed by Gore's speech enough to call me and talk about it. So maybe it'll have some traction.

Only time will tell.
