Did anyone else notice the weak applause Bush got at the war memorial
Edited on Sat May-29-04 05:39 PM by demdem
I looked like about 1 of 3 people were clapping for him. Then the dork didn't even pretend that he wasn't reading from a written speech.

2. Yes...

Thank you for confirming.

I was sitting in a sports bar at the time and though the background noise might simply have overwhelmed it. But as I heard it, the lack of applause was enough for me to take notice.

3. Yes, it was pathetic!
Some even looked disgusted when the cameras zoomed through the crowd.

7. Isn't it "under his own power?" It's still not exactly the best

9. With his braces on he could walk
Didn't he walk to the podium to accept nomination for Gov. of New York? I do think that he usually had someone that he could lean on walking next to him.

6. Nobody who STARTED A WAR should be at that memorial
The man should NOT be there. It's a disgrace.

8. How was the applause for the Big Dog?
Sometimes he's not appreciated by military crowds; I think it would be great if his applause was louder than *'s.
