1. I don't know but it drives me nuts!
Erratic seasons, extreme warmth and cold, disturbed weather patterns are ALL a part of the global warming phenomena.

Only true idiots think cold days prove there is no global warming.

3. And yet, a lot of sheeple I hear actually parrot this talking point
I know people who claim that global warming is not a scientifically-porven fact!

2. Because there are too many
corporate thugs who write a paper about a scientific report and then spread it to the masses. There's too much to counter.

4. I think most people understand the difference between weather and climate
Some morons say stuff like this just to piss off the libruls, especially in one-way communication (e.g. board posting). Others (myself included) say it just for the hell of it, and to try to get people to think. When someone says to me "sure is hot out today", I'll say "Global Warming!" with two raised eyebrows. The listener can either challenge me with something lame like "you're confusing the weather with the climate!", or they just give me a nod back, or a conversation on global warming is started up. So far, I've only had nods and a couple conversations.

5. They are right, people!
55 one day and 91 the next day in April is NORMAL, guys. I mean, just because we've had more tornadoes in VA in the last 5 years then I've ever seen in my lifetime don't mean nothing. And Rush nos that ice shelfes falling apart and melting dont cause a sea level rise. Just because I can't go outside because the air is polluted and the sun burns my arms in 2 minutes. well that is all just circumstancal evidence that proves nothing. Bush is right; no devistation in the enviroment at all. You damn wining liberals are too wimpy to go to an air-conditioned mall like a real American! Which, you should be thankful to have! since you put patreotic freon makers out of jobs!
