Air America news just mentioned a Just Us Department report that said we have more prisoners than anywhere else on earth, 1 out of every 75 Americans in prison, 68% of which are people of color.

Don't know why they called it breaking news--I wouldn't post it in breaking news because I've known it for so loooooong.

1. That takes away from potential Democratic

Vote....since statistically people of color tend to vote democrat. Thats why Jeb Bush is purging the voting rolls looking for felons...because statistically most would be people of color. He wouldn't be purging the voting records if statistically the majority of felons were white males.

3. The majority of felons ARE white males

but they're usually either not prosecuted, reach a settlement, or get sentenced to community service. There were what, 125 convicted felons in the Reagan administration? My guess is that the stats are similar for *, but when they got their fake college diplomas, they also had their rap sheets purged. Why do you think they call it WHITE collar crime?
