So they want to play hardball ????
Well, the buck does stop with the Commander in Chief. Who was the CiC when the WTC and the Pentagon were bombed with planes? Go ahead! Say it! It was George W Bush! He was asleep at the wheel. We have been too quiet about putting the blame where it actually belongs - right in the Oval Office. He wanted the job so bad he had to steal it. So he has to accept the responsibility that comes with the job. Bill Clinton wasn't in the office. Al Gore wasn't the Commander in Chief. It was George W Bush and he failed to protect this nation....and it pissed him off...so much so that he decided to take it out on his old enemy, Saddam Hussein, even though he had no proof Saddam was connected. And now over 800 of our troops are dead and thousands have been seriously injured - not to mention the tens of thousands of Iragis dead and injured. Yes, it was just a coincidence they didn't attack us in this country while Bill Clinton was president....yeah, sure.

1. They were only in office 233 days as of 9/11
Of course the day they came up with that spin (sounds better than 8 months I guess) was the 233rd day W had NOT been in DC-Crawford,Camp David, Kennbunktport.

As far as Clinton being to blame-as bob Boudelang has said, "Who else was a former president on that day?" Can't argue with that huh?

2. Right=o It happened on Bush's watch.
He is / WAS the commander in chief.
Do you recall what happend to General Short and Admiral Kimmel after Pearl Harbor?
I think the same premise applies, and while we are at it, let's hear it for the National Security Advisor as well.
