School of the Americas training evident at Abu Ghraib?
Edited on Thu May-27-04 09:32 AM by bobthedrummer
Systemic abuse is partially due to SOA training and criminal cults long known to law enforcement imo.

1. doesn't look like they have much to back up this claim
I think this is designed just to get attention for this clause.

2. Aside from years of publically released documents, Amnest reports
eyewitness accounts, yeah, not much to back it up...

3. Only a fascist would murder and torture organized labor network members
and their families, ONLY A FASCIST WOULD TEACH THIS IN A US MILITARY INSTITUTION.
:grr:
Here is an example of this SOA programming against labor in action, from Colombia, SUPPORTED BY OUR TAXES!

4. Not entirely convincing
I am interested in the subject of the SOA since it gets used to slam some good people with military service. I would rather see investigations that uncover those responsible for abuses, rather than blaming it on a school that now has congressional as well as international oversight and review on a regular basis.

5. Meet me halfway then, the entire evidence being held by the Pentagon
that our Senators "viewed" plus the new cd should be available upon demand from adult Americans, agree?

Jim4Wes, look at this list of political contributors-the mercenaries are way up high, aren't they?

7. I am in favor of a full
release of the evidence. And I generally believe abuse stems from tacit approval or pressure at high levels of government and not from regular training in the military or in the school formerly known as the SOA. In the case of the SOA it appeared that much of the objectionable material was un-official and it was not clear to me where it originated from or who knew about it.

About the financial contributions, its obviously a problem that affects pretty much all areas of government and all political parties. I never did feel comfortable with corporations wielding that kind of political power anyways.

How's that? :)

8. Fair enough.
The "unofficial" parts have people with names, I'm pursuing that aspect because no one is above the law.

6. I made a more objective subject line for this thread.
It's liberal in here.
