Transcript of Gore's Speech
Sorry if this has been posted a million times, but here's a link to Gore's speech ... and let me say right now, after this speech AL GORE IS MY HERO!

This speech so effectively sums up the history of the * administration--it is an encylopedia of their blunders, mistakes, and those who have called them out. If every American would watch it or hear it, *'s approval rating would be 10 points lower. (So fuck you very much, A$$croft and Ridge, you tools, for your "Hey, look over there!")

2. I don't get this "resignation" business
Why isn't he calling for their arrests? This was a criminal enterprise from the start. Attacking and invading a foreign country, violating the Geneva Convention... they should all be arrested, and their property confiscated for restitution.

Resignation isn't the answer.

8. Gore kept it in the realm of "it can happen" . Talk of impeachment
is for numbnuts like Nader who don't understand the political process. let's see if Kerry will follow through to the logical consequences of their responsibility.

3. It is a must see
His impersonation of Bush giving the SOTU was priceless. I laughed, I cried, I cheered. I love Al Gore!

6. After reading Al Gore's speech,I realized how unfortunate our
country has been in the past three and a half years. It has lost an articulate, intelligent and able President to a venal small time crook, liar and a wilful evader of responsibility. His crimes mounting
by the day has placed all of us in great danger as Al Gore has so ably stated. It is our moral duty to turn him and his gang of thieves
out at election time and elect Senator Kerry. All the fellow travelers of the Republican and Democratic Parties (such as Zell Miller, Lieberman,Inhofe and others of their ilk) should also be defeated.

For a long time I had thought Clinton disgraced the presidency by
engaging in sexula acts in the Oval office.Little did I realize that act would be followed by even more pernicious acts by his successor.
We are truly condemned by the people we have elected.

7. The american people get the President we deserve
What has happened to make us so gullible? I was part of the 10 percent who never gave bush any credit or trust...but so many people including on the left did give him the benefit of the doubt. Why?

9. Reading it is nice, but you gotta see it! Hear It!
Al Gore's facial expressions, and his impression of the bush* SOTU was amazing, and just shredded bush*

It was priceless...

10. I missed it - is there a link so that I could watch it too?
I love Al, he spoke at the Dem convention last year (in Wisconsin) and he was wonderful. I wish he would have shown this fire during his campaign, he would have won by such a margin that the repubs couldn't have cheated.

12. Best Speech Ever ?
This was without a doubt one of the best speeches I have ever heard.
Perhaps it’s just because I am in such a slump about the direction that our Nation has been led into by this corrupt Administration, But I can say that afterwards my pride and understanding of what it means to be a real American has certainly gone up.

He has inspired the qualities that have been lacking the past 3 1/2 years.
I really needed to hear it at this time.

Thanks Al , You've at least given me hope, Hope that all Americans are not fascist and actually care, Have compassion, And look forward to brighter future.

13. I did get to catch a little of it on C-SPAN this morning ..
and it was even more moving than I imagined. I share the thoughts of many of you ... THIS is what a PRESIDENT should be. It made me very sad, especially when he talked of trying to unite the country in support of * in the aftermath of the SCOTUS decision. I'll say it again, AL GORE IS MY HERO!

So, how about AL for VP? :) (And followed by a Kerry resignation?) :just kidding:
