.."How do Americans feel about losing their jobs?.."
CNN posed this "question".. Are they really this dense?? Did they expect that people would feel GRRRRREAT???

Their dumb "polls & focus groups" have gotten to my last nerve..

Sometimes I wonder WHO on earth is coming up with these milquetoast questions..

Some questions that NEED asking, are going unasked...

and yet they plod on...asking the inane, insane, and mundane :(

2. It is dumb but...
This is the typical inane question. How about are you afraid of losing your job? That might actually reveal something.

The media portrays economic conditions and outlook as fairly rosy. I think many don't really consider that they might lose their jobs until it actually happens. There seems to still be a lot of trust in the corporations to take care of us.

4. or...
"Do you feel that your "boss" has taken steps to PRESERVE employee's jobs?"

or

"Do you even know how much your boss MAKES?"

or

"How long will your company pay for your medical insurance, if you are laid off/fired?"...

or

"When was the last time you got a raise in pay?"

5. Five year old children write them!
Personally, I believe they only have those polls to see if they have any viewers now that America is so dumbed down that the majority watch Faux News.

6. Corporate News Network
So long as it it contributes to my company's bottom line, I am all for it. After all this country was founded on the notion that we all work for the top 0.05% of the population that controls the mega-corps. The rest of us are just expendable nobodies to be used for the greater good (e.g. so that useless aristocrats like George W. Bush can become "President" without ever having worked a day in their lives.)

7. is this on the web site or TV?
That is such a mornic question, I had to surf to cnn.com and see what the "choices" were. I didn't see it though.

Anyway, here are my ideas for the "multiple choice" answers:

A. Enraged, Hysterical
B. Subdued, In Denial
C. Shiftless, No-Good, Low Down, Dirty
D. A Bit Peckish

I have had more time to spend with my children, while we are begging for food on the side of the road. Bush, putting famine back into family.
