| Couldn't Kerry spend all the money NOW by prepaying ads? |
|
Couldn't Kerry spend the millions he will lose after he formally accepts the nomination by PREPAYING for commercials and ads NOW??
He could sign contracts for so many commercials to be made, and to be run in so many spots, etc. and pay for it all NOW.
Makes sense to me.

rent them for 6 months. Pay now.
They are effective. If they weren't, there wouldn't be so many of them.

We CANNOT have a watered-down Democratic Convention.
He must accept, but isn't there a way he can spend the money now??

| 4. It's not the spending, it's the raising of the money. |
|
If he had the money now to prepay ads to run between conventions, that would be great but it's impossible to collect the same amount of money in 20 weeks (more or less) as he could in 25. That's the problem.
