O'Reilly: "Everyday Americans and Mr. Bush"
"As we told you last week, anti-Bush propaganda has almost reached the hysteria level. It is long past time for Mr. Bush to begin replying and laying out his own vision for America.

There's no question President Bush will not get a fair shake from most of the media. A new Pew Research Study shows news reporters are far more liberal than conservative, and the networks, as well as most major urban newspapers, fairly rarely treat the president fairly.

So the president must take his case directly to the folk if he wants another term.

Americans aren't stupid, even though the elite media think they are. The folks in Michigan and the folks everywhere are willing to consider the president's point of view, but they must hear it from him. And it must be as persuasive as the opposition against him."

5. Puhlease!
"There's no question President Bush will not get a fair shake from most of the media."
Yeah, Bill, there's a very BIG question that he will get a fair shake from the media. He would've been LONG gone if the media had called him on half the shit he's been able to get away with up to this point.

11. He did it in a voice like Will Ferrell's "Dog Show" SNL character...
"NOT that I'm GLOATING, because I'm NOT, I'm just REPORTING this to you because you have a RIGHT to know, fair and BALANCED"...

I had to get out the Windex and give my TV screen a full wipe-down.

13. Well that's an interseting Pew research study he was looking at.
Bill "The Whirling Dervish" whO'Reilly left this out of his Propaganda Points Memo:

Bottom-Line Pressures Now Hurting Coverage, Say Journalists
Press Going Too Easy on Bush

http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?ReportID=2...

Oh Billy, how could you ever leave this out:

Most national and local journalists do not believe any national daily news organization is "especially liberal" in its news coverage. Roughly six-in-ten in both groups (62% national/59% local) say no national daily news organization strikes them as particularly liberal in its coverage. Among the minority that names a specific news organization as being especially liberal, the New York Times was mentioned most frequently (20% national/17% local).

By contrast, solid majorities of both national and local journalists say there is an organization that they think is especially conservative and for most the organization that comes to mind is Fox News Channel. Fully 69% of national journalists cited Fox News Channel as especially conservative in its coverage. Fewer local journalists (42%) mentioned Fox; still, a much higher percentage of local journalists named Fox than any other single news organization, conservative or liberal.

If these guys mention a poll or a study, it's gotta be double checked, can't even trust these guys about the weather.

14. Speaking as an every-OTHER-day American,
I love it when manipulative shitpots like OldLiar say crap like "OOO. THEY think you're dumb, BUT I think you're ever so SMART."

You know, there is that place between dumb and smart that's called "sucker".
