During the 2000 campaign, Bush's campaign literature claimed he was 6' ("the magic number" which has that aura of strength and power). Meanwhile himself admitted that he was only about 5'11". I didn't think it was possible for a grown man to vary so much in height (the "compression" that occurs after you get up in the morning surely doesn't alter one's height by that amount?). So the White House isn't being straight with us, about how big Bush really is.

(What I find especially interesting is that even his medical reports seem to be "misoverestimating" his height. What other fibs are they telling?)
