| College of War? Where is our College of Peace located? Does anyone |
|
ever give a speech there? What is the curriculum? Are citizens of other countries welcome? Do they provide degrees? Who has spoken at their graduation ceremonies? What is the enrollment number?
Notice anything - we teach our youth about equality, freedom, bill of rights - and the real truth is that we are a military and corporate nation. It has never, ever been this noticeable. Tell the youth in your life if you really want to be honest with them. Sorry to be so blunt if you do have children.

is an unanswered dream of the greatest minds the world has ever known. But these are not the people that can make these decisions, and it's not profitable to teach peace, equality, respect for the world and everyone on it.

| 3. Here is an interesting little test to show where our societies biases lie |
|
Name 10 war heroes.
Name 10 peace makers (not through war).
This crowd is more likely to be able to name 10 peace makers. But you will find that most people will rattle off 10 war heroes and then struggle to name a few peace makers.
Our society is still inverted. We still value physical aggression over intellectual exploration. We value absolutes over considered certainty. Might ties in so coveniently with absolute right. So much so that many adopt the notion that might makes right. When you add the idea that god would not allow such might to be concentrated in an unjust cause it adds all the more to the fervor.

| 4. Profitable or not profitable |
|
For years tourism was the number one industry in the world. Tourism requires peace. Tourism allows the most humble of people to make a living and raise themselves up.
But, we know that the people who are trying to dominate us don't want the little people to have money because they then start finding time to get educated. Education is bad for domination.
We know that war is very profitable. For a few.
I wonder what the College of War has cost us?

The navy and Air Force have war colleges. And there is also a "National War College."
