South Knox Bubba translates Bush's speech
http://www.southknoxbubba.net/skblog/archive_2004_05.ph...

"I am going to lay out a detailed plan for you. The details on which we don't have details make up most of the details of my plan. So in that respect it is a very detailed plan."

"Our enemies are mean. They are killing our people. That this might occur in a war has taken us by surprise. We don't know who they are. But we will stay the course and defeat them, whoever they are."

"There has been violence before the handover of power. There will be more violence after the handover of power. Iraq is a very violent place. This is not our fault."

1. "This (whatever) is not our fault." - The BushCo Gang mantra
They accept responsibility for nothing. What a bunch of lame shirkers. Shame on them...

2. thanks for the "translation" -- if the situation wasn't so tragic ...
... it would be downright ROTFLMAO, but it was still a good LOL!
I wonder whether we can get "Bushese" added to the Babel Fish translator pages??? more LOL

4. Five Dim Points
Handing over authority to a sovereign Iraqi government.
Meaning: Create an Iraqi state of our desires, sometimes called a puppet government these people, now called the Iraqi people, in turn will draft a constitution that meets are approval and their individual needs, anybody who goes against this principle will be labeled a terrorist.

Establishing security.
Meaning: Maintain military presence indefinitely including Iraqi puppet government troops and soldiers from any nation mercenary enough to contribute in exchange for favors like EU or NATO membership, or the need to give their SAS soldiers some practice. Terrorists fight the Iraqi people.

Continuing to rebuild Iraq's infrastructure.
Meaning: Build a maximum security prison, for holding future enemies of the people of Iraq.

Encouraging more international support.
Meaning: Seek out the few nations we have not completely alienated or we can strong arm or bribe, essentially any additional international support would meet the Websters definition of more.

Moving toward a national election in Iraq that "will bring forward new leaders empowered by the Iraqi people."
Meaning: We get to decide who are the Iraqi people, and who are rabble rousing terrorists this will codify that relationship.

6. That was a gem, thanks for sharing it!

"Iraq will have free and open elections in January. I am asking my brother Jeb and his pal Katherine Harris to go over there to help them conduct fair and orderly voting."

"The Iraqi people are proud and share a strong conviction to never again live at the mercy of a dictator. They prefer a military occupation headed up by corrupt officials hand picked by their occupiers. Except for the five or ten thousand killed during the invasion. They don't care either way."

"We are writing history in the Middle East. Once we occupy it and all the brown-skinned people of the Middle East are finally allowed to live and think and work and worship as free men and women just like normal white Christian people, they will reclaim the greatness of their own heritage and our oil supplies will be safe until the Rapture comes."
