One man standing there with a sign - "Haliburton has killed less people than Laura Bush's car." - That's fewer people, dimbulb. Didn't your English teacher larn ya nuthin?

I see they had to cancel one of their counter protests. They had no one to counter. The protest was moved to follow the board of directors.

It would be fun to plan a big protest and secretly relocate to a different venu without letting the counter protesters know it moved.
How about planning a big protest at Enron and switch it to Haliburton. Wouldn't the idiots look funny standing there with "I love Enron" t-shirts.

How about a big "Freedom of speech" rally. Let the counter protesters show up with anti-Freedom signs. That would show their true colors.

There is not alot you can do about counter protests. This is America.


In the streets, I usually avoid all contact with the assholes. Don't get drawn into shouting matches or physical struggles for real estate. Ignore them and keep your peace. Your cause is just, and protected by the Constitution. Have a covert supporter video tape EVERYTHING. If laws are broken, get a lawyer and file suit. The videotape is good evidence.

Good advice

If you go head to um...head with these freeperzoids, make sure a video recorder is playing.

Keep it discreet. Have an extra blank tape in your pocket to switch out in case you have to turn over your camera to security. Swap out the real tape with the fake one if you have time. Or else act like you took the tape out and give them the blank one.

11. I appreciate all of you, but yes these people are committed to shutting us

down. They believe at this moment they shut us down last Friday and that they will continue to do so. If you read on their forum they had lots of fun and can't wait to do it again. They believe they won?! Beats me, I wasn't there, but I will be there tomorrow in the planning stages for more peaceful protests. We committed to this action the first of April. I think all that will make us stop is if the police ask it of us. Help us to not let that happen.

P.S - For you Du types, since I now know that you are monitoring this thread, be advised that I am not “retired” from the Marine Corps. I served Honorably from 1983 –1993, and had to leave the service of my country due to the “Reduction in Forces”. I enlisted in the Texas Army National Guard after “9-11” to serve in the War on Terrorism (which Iraq is a part of).

I joined Protest Warrior to allow me to enhance my ability to exercise the same right as you people do – freedom of speech.

It would be extremely logical for Halliburton to seed organizers of a counter-protest organization to get legitimate protesters off their backs.

If you go to their thread about the Exxon-Mobile Protest happening this week they are offering to pay for transportation to get to Dallas for anyone that will come. How off is that? 25. have you read the signs? there are only 1 or 2 counter-p's

the 2 guys on the right are counter-protesters (in fact if you read one of the messages on the ProtestWarrior site it says only 2 people are going to be able to come to the protest), all the rest are war protesters. the signs say "war has never solved anything," "nope, no WMDs here," "protect Islamic (illegible--sovereign?) rights against Western imperialism: say NO to war." One says "it was none of our business" and I wish I could see what the rest of it is. One picture shows a counter-protester (behind the protesters, with a sign that says "Halliburton has killed less people than Ted Kennedy's car") talking to 2 of the protesters (see how they are turned away from the street and toward the counter-p?). there are always a handful of nuts at protests but you guys do outnumber them and they make themselves look like the no-brainers they are.
