I was only half listening to a segment of "You Decide 2004", when I hear Leslie Marshall speaking and paraphrasing someone else's thoughts on Bush. She was saying, "He said Bush needs to do 'this' and Bush should do 'that'." (Like I said I wasn't paying too much attention at that point.
My ears perked up when she said this guy says Bush needs to, "quit lying."
The republican speaker, Martha Zoeller, said, "Oh, come on. We can not be expected to handle all these domestic problems while we're fighting the war on terror."
Well, how do you like that? He is the friggin' president. Is there some clause in government that says if a president is fighting a war on terrorism he doesn't need to pay attention to any domestic issues? I don't think so. And let me tell you, if I didn't cover 100% of MY responsibilities at work, I'd be fired, regardless.
