As far as all of the European countries you mentioned, if they had truly believed that Iraq had WMDs they would have joined us, no questions asked. Do you have a link to support your assertion that all of those countries believed that Iraq had WMDs?

And even if all of this had not been true, we should not have massed the troops -- the UN had already reported that there was no evidence of stockpiles of chemical weapons. Once we had massed the troops, we should still have waited for the UN inspections to continue. To hell with weather concerns! That is the weakest excuse imaginable for a criminal war -- "our troops were about to get too hot in Kuwait."

Dubya and the Bushistas are a war criminals whose mismanagement of the American invasion and occupation have totally discredited U.S. foreign policy now and for years to come. Claiming that this all occurred because of 'weather concerns' might be fine for a SNL skit or a Daily Show report -- but it is ludicrous as an excuse for the murder and mayhem perpetrated in Iraq.

We need to vote Dubya out of office, pull U.S. troops out of Iraq, become signatories to the International War Crimes Tribunal, and ship Dubya and company to the Hague to stand trial for their crimes.

Mental issues are stigmatized and so most who are able to rationalize their thinking won't seek help... they'll seek out others to reinforce their feeling that they're 'normal'.

I don't think he needs mental help. I think he needs to open his heart to God.

That's the repukes weakness -- they capitalize on the religious. They thought that by corrupting the church, they could put off the realization by the masses that they're being conned, lied to, manipulated... I think their day of reckoning is coming.

I think this abuse scandal might just wake a lot of sleeping people up. They're so comfortable in their middle class homes, with their middle class schools, going to their churches with all their friends who are equally deluded.

I remember when some new neighbors moved in right after the start of the war...I took them a Welcome cake and saw she had yellow ribbons on their lamp post. So I said I supported the troops but was against the war. She said "oh, heavens who wants war?" I said, "well, your neighbors over there in that house had a party the night it started. And the other neighbor came running outside yelling to her two young sons "Cal...the war is starting! They're bombing!" in an excited voice and they ran in to watch it together on TV, like a cool movie I guess.

I noticed she took the yellow ribbons down about 6 months ago, before we really started suffering large death toll. I want to ask her why she stopped caring, but I don't want to be rude.
