2. Flowers at first.then hatred.....
marines didn't understand (did you hear the quotes from them when they were leaving.we tried, we cant help them)....then it increased terrorism in the region...WOWSERS!!

3. Yes, "From Beirut to Jerusalem" was the model for our
invasion of Iraq.

Thomas Friedman wrote it and it's a GREAT book. W

What I don't understand is why he didn't recognize that Iraq was going to go the same way.

Ironic, isn't it?

4. The Shi'ites in Lebanon--
--really did throw flowers at the Israeli invaders. Until they hung around too long. It did take 20 years for the Lebanese to throw them out, though.

5. Apples and Oranges.... the 'Civil War' tack is just media propaganda
to obscure the fact that their are genuine Iraqi patriots. In Fallujah, Sunni and Shiites were fighting the occupiers TOGETHER!

The adminstration doesn't want you to hear that story.

...At least that's what my Fallujah/Iraqi sources are telling me.
