Okay - Here it is - PLAN B
What do ya know - in light of Bush's poll numbers dropping like lead:

White House Whispers -
From the White House, a nightmare scenario

White House officials say they've got a "working premise" about terrorism and the presidential election: It's going to happen. "We assume," says a top administration official, "an attack will happen leading up to the election." And, he added, "it will happen here." There are two worst-case scenarios, the official says. The first posits an attack on Washington, possibly the Capitol, which was believed to be the target of the 9/11 jet that crashed in Pennsylvania. Theory 2: smaller but more frequent attacks in Washington and other major cities leading up to the election. To prepare, the administration has been holding secret antiterrorism drills to make sure top officials know what to do. "There was a sense," says one official involved in the drills, "of mass confusion on 9/11. Now we have a sense of order." Unclear is the political impact, though most Bushies think the nation would rally around the president. "I can tell you one thing," adds the official sternly, "we won't be like Spain," which tossed its government days after the Madrid train bombings.

2. It's the Team Bush Election Plan
We (as in the Royal -- or Proletarian -- "We") have long been discussing the possibility of an election-sealing Attack On America™ sometime this summer or early autumn.

So, suddenly it's a "whisper" around Washington?

There's a good reason why they're called bull horns.

18. Nah, that would be too obvious.
One reason the anthrax scare was buried so quickly is that people began to realize that only "liberals" were targeted (aside from the tabloid publisher who ran the photo of a shitfaced Jenna Bush dry humping on a barroom floor)

If the Bushies want to create the illusion that the "terraists want Kerry to win", they would take out their OWN convention instead. With Junior and the neocons safely out of the venue, of course.

21. secret my ass,
they've been holding them in public, in Miami, in Oakland, in Seattle, anywhere there are enough people to have a signifigance. Ever wonder how much more than the 8 million diverted to Miami from the Iraq bullshit has been sent elsewhere in the United States? I wonder what the rep convention is going to look like, probably turn New York into a third world country, gaud damnit.

11. Our 107th Congress was attacked by anthrax, and then forced to meet
in other places to pass PATRIOT ACT and other things in an atmosphere not conducive to the process of democracy, as I recall.

While no arrests have been made in the anthrax attacks we do know that the anthrax came from the Ames strain spores, was weaponized by the US Army and that the end user was the CIA-an inside job that disrupted our legislative process and killed or injured innocent US Postal Service employees and others.

I know that President John Kerry will be more effective at pursuing those responsible, unless we get a break on the case before November.

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.

15. No, Kerry is a nexus point....
Kill Kerry and a dozen equally good candidates (Dean, Clark, Edwards, etc) will rise from the democrats fold and the movement would be even more powerful.

They have to corrupt the democrats by bringing them on-board. Now as co-conspirators, but as willing dupes, just like they have done on many issues in the past. For example, IRAQ war, Patriot Act, obscene tax cuts for destitute gillion-airs, etc.

Otherwise, suspend the constitution and drop all pretenses. Martial law, for the good of the sheeple, and "freedom and democracy"...!

In any case they have to convince the group to go along with this. By the time the dim-wits wake up it may then be too late.

19. It worked in '68, with Bobby Kennedy.
I was working on the parallels.

But this idea, decapitating the government, would
make more sense and be much more effective.

It's sad to me that I believe them to be so power
mad that I would not put it past them to try it.

5. On May 10th, the CCRF
sent out an email questionaire to their members concerning breathing apparatus. The first question on the questionaire was dictated by OSHA - so they say......it was CAN YOU READ?

Doesn't that give you a warm and fuzzy feeling?

8. Tommy Franks floated this back in November...
Edited on Mon May-17-04 04:00 PM by Skinner
This just extends to that floater they put out back in November with Gen. Tommy Franks. He said, given another WMD attack on the US, he doubts the Constitution would survive.

Let's face it, if they cannot win it (and they can't) and if they cannot steal it (this is up in the air) then they will cancel it. The sheeple will take it for a time, settling for the crumbs from the table. Yet, have no doubt, civil war or WW III will come from it.

Gen. Franks Doubts Constitution Will Survive WMD Attack
John O. Edwards, NewsMax.com
Friday, Nov. 21, 2003

Gen. Tommy Franks says that if the United States is hit with a weapon of mass destruction that inflicts large casualties, the Constitution will likely be discarded in favor of a military form of government.
Franks, who successfully led the U.S. military operation to liberate Iraq, expressed his worries in an extensive interview he gave to the men’s lifestyle magazine Cigar Aficionado.

In the magazine’s December edition, the former commander of the military’s Central Command warned that if terrorists succeeded in using a weapon of mass destruction (WMD) against the U.S. or one of our allies, it would likely have catastrophic consequences for our cherished republican form of government.

Discussing the hypothetical dangers posed to the U.S. in the wake of Sept. 11, Franks said that “the worst thing that could happen” is if terrorists acquire and then use a biological, chemical or nuclear weapon that inflicts heavy casualties.

If that happens, Franks said, “... the Western world, the free world, loses what it cherishes most, and that is freedom and liberty we’ve seen for a couple of hundred years in this grand experiment that we call democracy.”

Franks then offered “in a practical sense” what he thinks would happen in the aftermath of such an attack.

10. "A Hard Country to Defend."-- Bush speech at a dinner, 4/21/04

Bush says U.S. a `hard country to defend' against terror attacks

By TERENCE HUNT
^AP White House Correspondent

WASHINGTON (AP) _ President Bush said Wednesday that those Americans who expect another terror attack in this country have reason for such fears. "This is a hard country to defend," he conceded.

"Our intelligence is good. It's just never perfect, is the problem," Bush told executives of more than 1,500 Associated Press-member newspapers at the cooperative's annual meeting.

The president also acknowledged that the last few violence-filled weeks in Iraq were difficult for the U.S.-led coalition and for Iraqi victims of the violence.

But he pledged not to lessen his administration's commitment to a free and Democratic Iraq.

"The Iraqi people are looking at Americans and saying, `Are we going to cut and run again?' We're not going to cut and run while I'm in the Oval Office," Bush said.

Questioned about an AP poll showing that two-thirds of Americans believe another attack is "somewhat likely" before the presidential election in November, Bush said: "I can understand why they think we're going to get hit again."

bastard motherfuckers WANT it to happen, so they'll make sure it will.

12. All the 'terrorist' leaders have to do is come out with an announcement
that there will be no more attacks on US homeland until AFTER the election, depending on who is elected. Wouldn't that scare the shit out of the Bush cabal?

16. Then the Bush cabal will have to do it themselves...
This would never work because if it would hurt Bush, they will forment one on their own. Also, there are any number of external and internal terroists whould want to nik the us. Just becasue one says it will not, there are a dozen waiting in line.

17. That's the only way out I see -
because they are going to stop at nothing now. I wonder if all those freedom-loving patriotic Republican Christians will just be okay with this - or if they'll be out in the streets too? It will probably be too late for all of that - by the time they wake up - it is going to be way too late.
