THIS is, of course, what the Right-wing masses mean when they cry out "Liberal media."

This is because we have different interpretations of "media." To the Right-wing, it's ENTERTAINMENT (Fiction), like Simpsons and 24. To us, it's the NEWS (Non-Fiction).

Example: When the Simpsons or 24 or something similar on TV shows don't praise America in all it's super-power glory, Right-wingers cry "Liberal media" with such vile hatred that they must literally violently masturbate themselves back to sanity.

Whereas WE watch the news and get indignant at seeing a press conference where the reporters and questions are vetted weeks in advance and even the little coughs are scripted and timed, or we see reporters engage in cowardice and self-censorship and acting as cheerleaders for the administration, and we then cry "what liberal media?" Then we blog. We blog to the EXTREME, baby.

Both sides are correct, we just have different interpretations of "media."

the Simpsons said it would be easier to get into America if they didn't have Visa's - and it shows them on a ship coming to America in old fashioned clothes. I didn't get it - but the rest of the show was really knee-slapping funny.
