Yet another Nick Berg theory...

There's one circling that might actually hold some water:
Nick Berg was already dead when they decapitated him.
I just saw the video, and it does seem like a fairly logical conclusion.

1) There is no blood spraying from his head. It appears there is some on the ground, but no spray. Why is that? They severed a major artery, after all.

2) He is not struggling as they cut. Even if the guys holding him were as strong as professional wrestlers, Berg would still show signs of struggling.

3) The screams do not match up at all. In fact, Berg starts screaming about 10 seconds before they actually kill him, and goes quiet much too early. Also, the voice sounds more female than male.

It could be they decapitated a corpse.

If he wasn't dead, why was he shifting, wiggling, and blinking during the speech?

There's an obvious edit between that part and the actual decapitation of him.
Who's to say it occurred on the same day?

Audio and video were out of synch probably due to numerous uploading/downloading and/or editing, but if audio is shifted to line up with video, it matches.
