Rice opens her mouth: Likens Terrorists to Klansmen

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=542&u=/ap/200...

Condoleezza Rice (news - web sites) said Thursday that terrorists today are driven by the same hatred that inspired Klansmen to bomb a church in 1963 in her hometown of Birmingham, Ala.

-snip-

"Those terrorists failed because of the poverty of their visions a vision of hate, inequality. ... And they failed because of the courage and sacrifice of all who suffered and struggled for civil rights."

1. Which terrorists who 'failed' is she referring to?
The Sept. 11th. ones were fairly successful; thanks to her.

2. NIce try, Condi, but...
I don't remember the blacks invading the homes of the Klansmen.
I don't remember anything the blacks did (besides just being black) that made them deserve such violence.

On the other hand, I think a lot of Muslims have a legitimate gripe.

4. And another thing...
To somehow try and equate the civil rights movement with the "war on terror" is just...WRONG.

9. You bet it is!
It's wrong.
Grandstanding on racial issues that this administration has not thought about for even a moment. Wrong!!

6. "Those terrorists succeeded on 9/11 because of
a poverty of vision on my part, and pResident Bush's part, and really -- when you think of it -- a staggeringly high level of corruption and incompetence in the entire BushCo Administration."

- Truthfully, Condi

8. Good one, Condi!
That'll win her a lot of points and get African Americans to support the war on terrorism. Because, after all, their ancestors did invade this country and force white plantation owners to use them as slaves and break up their families and change their religion and try to destroy their race and culture and everything. Of course, it's the same hatred. Why didn't I see that before?

11. So, Condi...to whom would you compare the NeoCons...
...with whom you share a common political line of thought?

Don't look now, Condi, but your alleged "terrorists" are starting to gain the upper hand in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
