I was just watching the ABC Early Show and some guy was on there talking about John Kerry's campaign style. He said that Kerry so far has been just (sic) coasting but all he has to do is prove he "isn't an idiot that will get us all killed". An indirect slam on Bush that I think, from the twisted up look on the host's face, didn't go over well with the people in the studio.
Hilarious.

...thread title a little confusing to me. But I agree with the ABC commentator and someone should send him that bumper sticker that reads: Somewhere in Texas a village is missing its Idiot!

In other words, all Kerry has to prove is that he's "not an idiot who'll get us all killed" to be better than Bush, who by implication IS an idiot who'll get us all killed.

It was political commentator Craig Crawford. He also called Bush an "amiable dunce," I kid you not. He said people were comfortable with Bush as long as he was surrounded by smart people, but everything that has been happening over the last couple of months has shown that Shrubbie's people don't know what the hell they are doing.
It was then that he said "at this rate, all Kerry would have to do is say he isn't an idiot who will get us all killed."
I couldn't believe it was on mainstream TV. Score one for the good guys.
