On Hannity And Savage Playing The Audio Of Berg's Beheading

Twice now, I have inadvertently heard the audio of Berg screaming. Both times, I had no idea I would hear it. I did not want to hear it. What are their motivations?

I think it is to desensitize us to horrible violence and to prey on emotions (as they always do). However, I don't hear them playing audios of American soldiers screaming and moaning when killed in battle in Iraq. I'm sick of this fascist RW talk radio.

BTW, I noticed on takebackthemedia.org that there is a page set up to contact Limbaugh's advertisers and advise them of a boycott. I was surprised to see that several advertisers have stopped advertising on his show due to complaints.

I wish we all had the time to start E-mailing and calling the sponsors of these lying, false, propagandist shows.

It was on at my work that day and hannity warned for a few minutes beforehand that this would be disturbing. He then gave a countdown from 10-0 before he played it.

He is a total hack but He really did give lots of warning that it would be bad and kids and squemish should shut off for 30 secs to a minute.

I turned on the radio. Sean Hannity was interviewing Zell Miller. In the middle of the interview, WITHOUT WARNING, Hannity played the audio of Berg screaming and the killers yelling something.

I turned on the radio. Commercials were playing. The intro music began to play. The intro music stopped and the audio of Berg screaming and his killers yelling something began playing.

I posted this earlier, but it bears repeating. HE PLAYED THE AUDIO TO SELL MORE BOOKS, WHERE HE EQUATES LIBERALS AND TERRORISTS. AND HE DOES IT ON THE TWO LARGEST ABC STATIONS IN THE NATION (Of course liberal ABC hasn't recently decided not to disribute a Michael Moore film, have they?) One of his listeners typed out the whole transcript. Here's what he or she said:

His real purpose in airing this tape is to remind everyone of 911. He is trying to bring back Bush's popularity post 911. I really believe Hannity's, Limbaugh's, Elder's, and all the other right wing radio talk show nuts get their daily talking points directly from the Whitehouse.

These people are actually participating in an organized attempt to sway an election. If Kerry makes it to the Whitehouse I believe bringing the fairness doctrine back into law would do as much good for this country as any other single event.
