RW Tactics 101: Berg and Abu Ghraib

1) "Outraged at the Out-Rage" tactic is a way to drown out, i.e shout-down criticism, bulling the criticizers of our countries (military) actions, to deflect the criticism and disgust away from the "ACTUAL ISSUE" and reframe it into a shouting match between the left and the right.

The "ISSUE" (for all you lurking freepers & Dittoheads), is not that Saddam Hussein was worse or that the terrorists are murders (High I'm Mr. Obvious, We already know these things! Duh! ), but that the United States of America and it's military are bound by LAW under the Geneva Convention, and we expound as a nation "HOW" great we are for "freedom and Human Rights.", at the same time committing disgusting abuse against detainees (including rape, torture, etc....). The worst form of hypocrisy. We whom critisize know that "WE" as a country should "BE" above torture and this kind of abuse. Ethics, Morals, the constittuion and Bill of RIghts demand that "WE" have a high standard on human rights.

2)The RW using Nicholes Berg to incite fear and anger against the left, to deflect the issue and reframe the issue of our "Militaries Hypocrisy and our Countries Hypocrisy of the abuse" to one of "JUSTIFICATION OF THE ABUSE". People whom beleive this justification shows how loathsom and desperate those on the right really are. These people are worse than Bin Laden or Saddam.


These tactics are transparent.

Effective only for the partisan RW base (to incite hatred against the left to deflect) and ignorant Americans.
