"Stick it to them" May 19
There's an email going around claiming May 19 to be stick it to em day encouraging everyone to not buy gas on that day. Anyone get one, and didn't we all try that once before and decided it doesn't work?

2. I received that email just today.
I probably won't buy gas that day but it will be easy for me, I park and ride to work.

3. If you get the email here's how you should reply (to All)
I got the email today and, frankly, I think it's a bunch of BS. Every time gas goes up we get this idea that we can hurt the oil companies by not buying gas for a day. Well, it ain't gonna happen.

Here's what I did: I Replied to ALL with:

"I have a better idea. Let's elect a government that is serious about getting the US off of our fossil fuel dependency."

Keep in mind, that you get these with a bunch of email addresses CC'd that you don't know so you don't want to be offensive to a Repuke by saying Bush is an oil President and Kerry has a plan for alternative fuel sources. So you just say let's elect the right people and everyone knows that Bush is not the man for the job.
