Rumsfled goes to Abu Gharib
http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/05/13/iraq.abuse/index.html

Does this guy have no shame?? What exactly is he trying to accomplish by going here? This is obviosly a publicity stunt, but I dont think even this can save him now.

6. He is "standing tall"
He says "I'm a survivor".Actually, he is an asshole. Bush would be much better off if he were to make "sweeping changes" right now. It would show that he has a handle on things and would be willing to make some kind of a change for the better. It would also buy him some more time while they make the "transition". Joe citizen would accept it. However, bush is a prisoner to his own strategy of staying the course, no matter what. This strategy will be the thing that ultimately defeats him.

8. Funny how he never mentions that they are fighting and dying
for a lie. He never tells them that the war on terrorism in Afghanistan has been replaced with the illegal, revenge war on Iraq. That it is NOT noble for them to kill innocent Iraqis. The Iraqis had NOTHING to do with 9/11. He forgets to tell them that this illegal war is costing each and every American over a BILLION dollars a week. He forgets to mention the fact that this administration has no plan to repay the incredible deficit that this war is creating. Funny how he forgets to tell them that . . . .
