Noone talking about Rummy's reversal?
here's what I perceived from news today:

1. the contractors say they were just following orders, basically fingering their higher ups

2. Rummy, realizing that he is implicated and can't wriggle out, announces that he stands by his torture methods.

Did this slip by the radar?

2. This one goes out to Rumbum.
You have to learn to pace yourself
Pressure
You're just like everybody else
Pressure

You have to learn to pace yourself
You've only had to run so far
So good

But you will come to a place
Where the only thing you feel
Are loaded guns in your face
And you'll have to deal with pressure

You used to call me paranoid
Pressure
But even you can not avoid
Pressure
You turned the tap dance into your crusade

Now here you are
With your faith
And your Peter Pan advice
You have no scars on your face
And you cannot handle pressure

3. I caught that too, but
...it was just too bizarre--and too typical--to know where to pick up the thread. Guess the apologies are no longer operative.

"No!" he said a little sullenly, but stoutly; "I'm not sorry. And it wasn't folly at all! It was simply glorious!"

"What?" cried the Badger, greatly scandalized. "You back-sliding animal, didn't you tell me just now, in there--"

"O, yes, yes, in there," said Toad impatiently. "I'd have said anything in there. You're so eloquent, dear Badger, and so moving, and so convincing, and put all your points so frightfully well--you can do what you like with me in there, and you know it. But I've been searching my mind since, and going over things in it, and I find that I'm not a bit sorry or repentant really, so it's no earthly good saying I am; now is it?"
