The last that I saw of them was after they posted the video of Nick Berg's last moments. When I click onto them now, I get a notice that they were shut down due to failure to pay. Very smelly fishy.

Bush/Ashcroft certainly would love a nanny state, but the cause of infoclearinghouse's outage is likely more prosaic. Hosting plans allow you only a certain amount of bandwidth a month, exceed it and you'll get yanked. Especially if you're sucking up so much pipe space that the hundred other accounts sharing your server suffer for it.
