David Duke opens his mouth: from a Halfway House

While awaiting release from a halfway house, former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke has been working for an organization he founded that defends ''white civil rights.''

Duke, a former state lawmaker who ran for governor and the Senate, was required to get a job while at the Baton Rouge halfway house, where he is completing his federal sentence for fraud.

Duke spokesman Roy Armstrong said prison officials did not object to Duke working for his own organization, the European-American Unity and Rights Organization.

Duke has been answering telephones and ''reorganizing the way we do data-entry,'' Armstrong said. He also organized a welcome-home event for himself. He is scheduled to be released May 15. AP

4. Here is something scary...
I have been to Mr. Duke's website and I have read his views on foregin policy. The scary part is the fact that I can agree with thim on the Israel/Palestinian conflict. Him and Pat Buchanan have the same views as I do.

5. yeah, i hear you.....
Yeah, I'm really embarrassed by the fact that folks like David Duke (and most of the extreme, out-of-the-mainstream right, for that matter) are on the same side as the Left with regards to the war on Iraq and the Israeli conflict.

Keep in mind that David Duke may have the same opinions as we do on certain issues, but he has very different reasons for those opinions. Duke has similar views on foreign policy to us ONLY because of the involvement of Israel. If Israel was an "Aryan" and not Jewish state, everything else being the same, I'm sure Duke would be completely with the Freepers and neocons. IIRC, he and his ilk were quite happy to support South Africa.
