Women then were relegated to second-place (and lower) status, until they finally rebelled, and started the second wave of the feminist movement. They got tired of being expected to serve coffee and service the men, and being excluded from any of the planning. Then, as now, they were called names, dissed, and when they took exception, were told "you're taking it too personally", "Don't you have a sense of humor?", "Stop bitching".

... by General Antonio Taguba mentions the following specific actions:

- A male MP guard having sex with a female detainee.
- Sodomizing a detainee with a chemical light and perhaps a broom stick.

These were "rape rooms", according to the Army's own report. And those were just the cases that made it to the report. I don't know why more people aren't calling them what they obviously were.
