I haven't been able to find anything about their children being over there. Hell I'll even take a Haliburton executive if you can dig one up or any member of Bush's inner circle?

1. Only a Democrat
to my knowledge - one of the Senators from North Dakota has a son there - don't remember whether it's Dorgan or Johnson.

4. South Dakota, I believe....
Daschle has a son in the Air Force who's in Kuwait, or possibly Qatar. Far as I know, he's the only one that's been mentioned in the press as being in the region.

One thing for sure, there's not a long list of kids of Congresspeople serving there.

7. Thanks for the info it is Johnson
I ran a check on the name after you gave it to me. He is the son of Senator Tim Johnson (D) South Dakota. Unfortunately his Dad gave a big "thumbs up" to Reichsfuhrer Bush. I wanted to say I hope he doesn't have to regret it but then I realized that there are thousands of parents whose children are over there because of the yes vote but some of our representatives.

Hell I still hope he doesn't regret it I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

2. Ike Skelton
Congressman (D) from Missouri. Big friend of the military. He has two adult sons who are career soldiers. I don't know if they are in Iraq or not, but he is one of the few in government who has children in the military.

6. I met Congressman Skelton's oldest son
Back in the early 90's when he had just come home from a tour in Korea. Darn fine young man.

5. Seems odd doesn't it?
I thought that the war machine would make something out of that. Hope there not involved in that POW debacle.
