"A nation can survive it's fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot
survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidible, for he is known and carries his banners openly.

But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the galleys, heard in the very hall of government itself.

For the traitor appears not a traitor...He speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and wears their face and their garment, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the heart of all men.

He rots the soul of a nation...he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city...he infects the body politic so that it no longer can resist.

A murderer is less to be feared."
Cicero 42 B.C.

"THIS IS AN ADMINISTRATION THAT WILL NOT TALK ABOUT HOW WE GATHER INTELLIGENCE, HOW WE KNOW WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO, NOR WHAT OUR PLANS ARE."
GEORGE W. BUSH TO THE PRESS AT CAMP DAVID 9-15-2001

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.

9. Excellent post
Our government has sold out to corporations. Decisions are being made by people who were not elected to make them, or even appointed through contitutional means. The corporate oligarchy that is running our government has bypassed and trod upon the Constitution of the United States, while Americans sit idly by and allow it to happen. I am so fucking sick of the coruption in our government at the hands of big business, that I am ready to adopt a completely Amish-inspired lifestyle. I have been researching who's giving the big bucks to this administration, and I am writing each of them. I have already completely changed my shopping habits. I went grocery shopping yesterday and did not buy a single pre-packaged item except Stony Field Farms organic dairy products and Springer Mountain Farms organic chicken. I've joined a local produce co-op. This is just the first step. I'm adding daily to my list of companies I am boycotting. Doubt my boycott will make even a blip of a difference, but it will make me feel better. I at least will feel cleaner.

10. GWB and his Administration are definitely above the law for neither the
Congress nor the Supreme Court nor the media and hence nor the people hold them accountable, let them evade responsibility.
