Does anyone have links to any articles analyzing the speculation that the Terrorism Alerts after 911 where used to cover up or divert attention away from negative news stories about the Bush administration? I've mentioned this topic a number of times to a young Republican neighbor of mine. He doesn't believe it and says that if it were true it would be all over the news. He is actually very open minded (for a Republican) and "listens" to opposing viewpoints. Maybe we can get him and others to see the light. I'd appreciate any help or direction. Thanks.
