Would it be inappropriate to say that we are as hurt and sick by the actions in the prison as are some Iraqis? Would it be inapropriate to ask them to search their souls for forgiveness? That we know they are an old and wise people and that they do have friends in America. And we are sorry for whatever crimes were committed by our young soldiers?

4. freedom of speech dude, freedom of speech

takes courage to speak up. i think i would clarify and talk about the extremism on both sides and how the moderates in both the christian and the muslim religion have to reach out between each of us to unite and defeat the fundamentalist that have hi jacked our religions

the muslim is not innocent in the scheme of things. but i am a strong believer the last three years of bush and his arrogance they may not see that there are way more moderates in this country. i too have felt the need to talk to those in iraq. just to say we can be a better people than what we are and i am sorry for this.

you feel the need to go for it. i will help you defend yourself if they come and take you away, grinnin.

We're AMERICANS and we are afraid to speak our minds and our hearts! I started to write a letter and then thought better of it ... or worse. Have I become a coward? I have a family ... What has become of us? Are we so diminished that we cannot act and speak as Americans?
