Well, on the lighter side, TSN just reported the Bush's won't attend
the twins college graduations this month. It seems, according to the report, that Dubya and Pickles don't want to "upstage" the girls.

What wonderful parents, and excellent family values. I don't care who the hell you are, if you don't support your child in such an accomplishment, then you are a smoking sack of shit.

I think I just had a Skittles moment.

1. Yeah!
When my parents Bob Dylan and Elizabeth Taylor came to my college graduation, I was just happy they and their respective entourages and security details were there!

2. Avoid the place
I've got it figured that if Bush won't go there, there was probably some pdb that said it would be hit. He's such a great human.

4. Reminds me of Dean

During the primaries, he missed some really important event - escapes me now, to attend his son's hockey game, I believe the final one of the season.

The difference between a fraud and the real thing.

5. Maybe the colleges couldn't...
ensure a big enough "free speech zone" to prevent the boy king from hearing that the emperor has no cloths.

6. They Probably Don't Want Them There
I don't think the girls even like their parents anyway. Who would want to acknowledge those two morons.

7. Not intrude in their privacy. That Clinton guy would always grab publicity
but W is oh, so self effacing (the write-up at the time he ignored the China histages - works here too)

9. Yes, the Clintons would show up at Chelsea's graduation....
and the result of that kind of relationship is that Chelsea never got caught falling down drunk and making a fool of herself, either.

So much for repuke "family values".

12. FURTHERMORE!!
Even if chimpy didn't want to go, pickles should have been "mom" enough to slip in and sit off to the side with her entourage, just because moms love to see their kids graduate and accomplish things!

sheesh! Those poor kids.

13. EXACTLY!!! WHY NOT "JUST" PICKLES
That wouldn't cause quite the stir as having both her and the Boy King at the ceremony. You know, neither parent attended Jenna's court hearing, either. We can see why there are some truly serious problems within this "good, God-fearing family."

Yes someone who does that is a smoking sack of shit.

Yes, Emperor Bunnypants* and Pickles are indeed smoking sacks of shit.

Emperor Bunnypants*: A UNITER! (uniting everyone against his Impeial Tyranny)

15. Well, miracles do sometimes occur
But you may find some of my political views mirror yours. If they didn't, we wouldn't be on the same board.

My cursing was just an overflow of frustration. I try to avoid it, but I really have had enough of these clowns.

17. Another thing we agree on
Edited on Thu May-06-04 04:24 PM by tom_paine
I'm FED UP with Soviet style LIES and getting my intelligence insulted by these Lying Soviet Bushevik Clowns EVERY GODDAMNED DAY.

We have one last chance in November. If Bunnypants* retains the throne by hook or by crook (probably "BY CROOK"), then I think there's a better than 80% chance that the American Experiment in self-government is over.

We must put aside our piffling football differences and work TOGETHER to ensure Freedom for our children and their children, which is under threat in a way we haven't seen since we defeated Prescott Bush's Money Laundering Partners in WWII.

In said spirit, I offer my hand in friendhsip. Can you forgive me, fellow Bush Brothers Banana Republic Resistor?

:pals:

(I tried to find the "handshaking smiley" but couldn't, so we'll have to settle for this slightly effeminate "pals" icon )

19. You bet! I think my most frustrating part of all of this
is that I (and my fellow Texans) have had to put up with this guy for what seems an eternity. He started off by being a terrible majority owner of our local baseball team, soaked the citizens of Arlington with a tax hike to build himself a ballpark, then in turn sell his part of the franchise at a healthy profit. THEN defeat a gracious and wonderful governor, and while in office lying about giving us Texans tax relief. AND FINALLY BEING APPOINTED AS EMPEROR of our country. And to cap it all off, he passes himself off as a genuine Texan with his fake accent and his "all hat and no cattle." I am very sick of this whole charade.

Sorry for the poor format. I just had to rant.

We'll do it together. You, me, and all the rest who see that this is the most dangerous gang ever to be given power in Washington. We're gonna beat these bastards.

Slightly gay pals icon right back at ya. Maybe we should say "slightly effeminate" pals icon.

James

21. Cool. We just have to agree never again to talk football
I think that's something we'll both find easy to do, as there is so much else going on on Planet Earth right now so much more important.

20. I would have crawled through 5 miles of broken glass
just to go to my daughter's soccer games.
OK, that's a little bit of an exageration, but not much.
I bet the twins didn't want them there.
