6. It's too late...

I still say it's too late to fire Rumsfeld. He should have been fired yesterday or even before as a sign of disgust. Now it'll just be seen as bowing to political pressure, which might placate a few moderates, but it will not help the soldiers in the field who will be dying because of those photos.

Bush had a good opportunity and he blew it. If he does it now (or accepts Rumsfeld's resignation), he'll just look like a panzy in front of the world and many Americans.
