No policy on how to treat POW could take effect without the approval of the Commander-in-Chief. Bush, not Rummy is at the top of this scandal. Ashcroft, Cheney, Rummy, and Wolfiowitz are work for Bush. He is responsible. He held several appearance in which he, Bush, talked about the POWs from Afghanistan and Iraq were not POWs but enemy combatants that were not covered by the Geneva Convention rules or any rules except those the US chose to apply. Don't forget, Ashcroft, as the chief legal advisor in the nation is also culpable in this. You better take another look at the "Patriot Act"

It is just amazing to me how quickly the dittoheads, both in and out of government, run to the defense of Bush.

when will bush* send medical doctors and rape counselors to his Victims..?

there are reports that over one third of the Iraq prison population has tuberculosis and fleas....

has anyone found the Iraqi POWs who were 'sodomized with brooms and chemical sticks" and chemically BURNED with phosphoric acid...?

certainly, bush*'s Victims need immediate medical care....likely bleeding internally, with major infections...and surgery, skin grafts for the chemical-burn victims...counseling....

'compassionate conservative' bush* could PICK UP A PHONE, and have an entire medical hospital and crisis counselors over there TODAY !!

is bush* taking any ACTION at all to alleviate the suffering of his Victims?

3. he'll probably asked for faith-based input on this and ask those who
are compassionate, preferably Muslims, to foot the bill for care and rehabilitation of US prison torture victims.

2. They have to.
He does not give them much choice, but I am thinking they may wish they had betted on a different horse.

By now its all about cognative dissonnance. Or vested self interest.

Weasels and Swine ain't in it! Perhaps it was not such a good idea to invade Iraq afterall.

5. My mom was a roll today
She was tearing Shrubbie a new one over health care. She almost 65 and is paying up the wazzoo for insurance.

We can go over to Iraq and say we'll rebuild that country but can't provide health care to OUR people.

I hate that fucker more everyday.
