Wow! Latest MSNBC online poll has Kerry leading Bushler by 40 points!!
Unscientific as it may be, this is about the way I see it! Check it out! As of this post, Kerry led 69% to 28% for Chimpy! Bullshitting talking head media whores can say what they like - but support for the evil War President and his insane, illegal war is taking a MAJOR nosedive - a free fall, it would seem. Personally, I can't find a soul that will defend him and his indefensible war anymore!

Humpty DUMBty had a great fall - and all the Fox Channel, and Diebold machines, couldn't put DUMBty together again!

1. Maybe this is why they are starting to grow some cojones
on MSNBC they see where their viewers are, and want to pander to us (wouldn't that be SWEET!)

8. BTW, that poll last had Bush up by 2 in early March
before his ad blitz. So he gained all of 2 points.

3. This is early in the Poll
They redo this poll every couple of weeks and Kerry has always been ahead of Bush by a large margin. Right now this poll just restarted and the gap will narrow somewhat. Kerry has won everyone of these polls and will win this one also.

13. As if a Fox News or CNN or USA poll is real??
Wrong!! They're likely even less scientific than this!

9. Great, but why do they have to nest the poll in this article...
"NBC poll: Pessimism not sticking to president
Half of voters unhappy with direction, but Bush still leads Kerry"

A whole friggin' page painting Bush as the Teflon Don of the 2004 election.

When you actually READ it, the raw data is not as rosy as the headline:

"By a 2½-to-1 ratio, more Americans feel “very positive” about Bush than they do about Kerry — 30 percent, compared with 12 percent. When voters who said they were “somewhat positive” about either candidate were taken into account, Bush approached an outright majority in favorability, at 49 percent to 38 percent.

However, hard-core opposition to Bush was also more solid, as 30 percent said they felt “very negative” about the president, compared with 22 percent who said the same about Kerry."

"Even more crucial in what for the moment is a close race, Bush appears to have a much smaller proportion of voters who might be persuaded to commit to his campaign than does Kerry. A full 19 percent said they were neutral on Kerry, compared with only 8 percent who said the same about Bush."

11. Also, when people feel the country is moving in the wrong direction
the incumbent does not win. The two other most recent polls on http://www.pollingreport.com have Bush's approval rating at 46 percent. Presidents with that kind of rating don't ever win.

21. Guys, don't you see why the media keeps saying Bush has a narrow lead????
Doni's husband sounds off again:

The electronic fix may already be in. If that's the case, the media are covering their butts for when ::surprise, surprise:: the election matches their stories instead of the polls... proving how smart they all are and how dumb we little proles and serfs are... we need a Truman miracle. I'm not sure I can gather the faith to hope for one.

A REAL leader would address the Arab world tonight and say: "I am sorry - each and every person watching this telecast needs to know that not only as American commander in chief, but also as an American citizen, that I am just as responsible for the the wounds inflicted on your loved ones as those who actually wielded the weapons, and who lowered the bags over your family members' heads. I understand why you are angry. You have every right to be angry. On behalf of all Americans, I apologize. I ask you to forgive us individually and as a nation. And I will do everything I can to ensure that those responsible will never be able to commit such acts again.
We have let you down and disappointed you. More importantly, we have failed to live up to the standards that we claim. By dehumanizing your brothers and sisters we have also dehumanized ourselves." Say it, and live up to it. That might have more effect than all the guns and money we can muster - to be honest, admit our mistake, do everything we can to leave the place better than we found it (which was ostensibly the reason American invaded Iraq in the first place) and get out.
I don't know if John Kerry would do this, but since it's the right (and Christian) thing to do, I know darn well * won't (admit a mistake).
