"Circumstances altered unfairly": Rumsfeld.
Wow. This is the double-speak offered by Rummy on the subject of Iraqi torture victims. Their "circumstances were altered unfairly."

Wow. WOW! This is Kubrickian black comedy as well as Orwellian dystopia. When asked if he'd personally apologize for any of this bad craziness, he said, "Any American would feel..." blah blah, blah blah... But HE'LL never apologize. Not even in Hell. Which is waiting for him.

I've heard it said many times before, that this adminstration trumps Nixon's in terms of venality and just plain "badness." And I thought, "Okay, maybe. Bush sucks, sure, but, Let's see." John Dean's book notwithstanding. Etc. Well, okay. Now I "see." Now I get it.

Wow.

7. Did Congress declare either Love or War?
You do realize that only congress can declare war.

10. Rumsferatu is the most evil of all
Edited on Wed May-05-04 05:00 PM by Unknown Known
Remember - he was Dick Cheney's mentor, but Cheney can't hide the evil like Dr. Strangelove. He is the quintessential slithering snake. IMO, he is the most sociopathic of them all!

The Unknown
As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don't know
We don't know.

15. It's the heart medicine
Cheney's been on some heavy drugs for a long time and mental illness is one of their side effects.

11. What in the hell does he mean by that
Help me out here. "Circumstances altered unfairly". The only thing I can think of is that something wasn't slanted in favor of Old Rum.

The fact is that this is old news. They knew about this a year ago. Someone posted on another thread that maybe that's why Blair had a meeting with Bush recently. Were they hoping this would disappear if they ignored it?

So what the hell could be "unfair" here?

14. Very important. That "Any American would feel" type of
comment is a major copout, and manipulative. The next question should be:

"Yes, but Mr. Rumsfeld how do YOU feel about it".

These bastids never own anything, they use clever verbal devices to make it look like they do though.
