http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,1206725,00.html<<Colonel Jill Morgenthaler, speaking for central command, told the Guardian: "One contractor was originally included with six soldiers, accused for his treatment of the prisoners, but we had no jurisdiction over him. It was left up to the contractor on how to deal with him."
She did not specify the accusation facing the contractor, but according to several sources with detailed knowledge of the case, he raped an Iraqi inmate in his mid-teens.>>
The military says it has no jurisdiction over the private contractor but it does have
Jurisdiction to invade Iraq and Iraqis??!!
We were having peace talks for Faluja and at the same time we were bombing Faluja!!
We went to Iraq to get rid of the rape and torture rooms, only to find out theyÕre just under new management.
This administration is made up of some really slick Mother F%#%ers.
The Pentagon hires these mercenary interrogators to do their dirty work knowing full well
that they are basically above the law.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,1206725,00.htmlThese private security firms are made up of the elite of the elite, marines, rangers, green berets and seals.
The US soldiers obviously respect working with these ex elite marines, seals and rangers and would naturally follow their lead.
It cost our government a lot of money to train these ex elite soldiers but it costs even more money
to rehire them through private contractors.
ItÕs crony capitalism and war profiteering gone amok. If this isnÕt evidence enough of why privatization of the military is not good, I donÕt know what is.
